About Us and The Area

The Fulton House is nestled on the North Shore of Fourth Lake, in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. Fourth Lake is the largest of the Fulton Chain of Lakes, connecting the towns of Old Forge and Inlet. Along the Fulton Chain you will find historic "camps," pristine beauty, and a wide variety of recreational opportunities.

At The Fulton House, we have five cottages along the shore, each with character and creature comforts.  Our property features a turn-of-the-last-century Victorian summer home and boathouse cottage as well as three other newer cottages.

We also have a dock and boardwalk, canoes for your use (other boats may be rented on the lake), a "sandbox" by the shore, a protected swimming area, boat docking, sunny lawn, campfire circle, and acres of woods.

Should you need to venture out, you will find many inviting attractions in the nearby towns of Old Forge, Eagle Bay, and Inlet,  including

There are also miles of beautiful hiking trails as well as biking trails for all abilities in every direction through the Adirondack wilderness, up mountains for terrific vistas, or to ponds, waterfalls, and beaver dams. Just ask us to show you the map of the area. You can hike up "Bald" Mountain right from your cottage. It's in our backyard!

Come enjoy the Central Adirondacks!
